How it works

Every week / Eastern time

Four moves.
One finished thing.

  1. 01MON — THU

    Suggest

    One free idea per member, made for a browser and small enough for a weekend.

  2. 02THU — FRI

    Choose

    Five eligible ideas are drawn. Members vote; totals and rankings stay hidden until close.

  3. 03FRI — SUN

    Build

    Twenty places. Forty-eight hours. Claims close Saturday at noon Eastern.

  4. 04SUN — WED

    Vote

    Members choose a favorite. Every valid app enters the showcase; the winner is announced Wednesday.

Monday’s new idea window can overlap the prior round’s build vote. The current-week pool always follows its own Eastern calendar week.

    No AI features

    Submitted apps must not include AI features, including optional local, hosted, or visitor-key features.

  2. 02

    Keep it clean

    Nothing illegal, NSFW, or harassing.

  3. 03

    No checkout traps

    Do not collect payments or credentials from visitors.

  4. 04

    Build in the window

    Templates are fine. The competition-specific work happens during the 48 hours.

Does it cost anything?

No. Suggesting an idea, voting, and building are free for the four-round pilot.

What can I build?

A web app that anyone can try in a browser without installing software. Shipped entries cannot include AI features.

Who can suggest an idea?

Any member signed in with X can submit one idea for the current week. The 30-day X account rule applies to voting, not suggesting.

What happens after I submit?

A server-side rules check runs after submission. Clear passes enter the eligible pool; uncertain or delayed checks stay pending for the operator. Eligibility does not mean selection.
